RoboNexus Rolls into Silicon
Valley
North America’s Largest
Robotics Conference and
Exposition Features Large
International Contingent, Broad
Media Coverage
NORTHBORO, MA, AND FRAMINGHAM,
MA, OCTOBER 17, 2004 - Robotics
Trends and IDG World Expo today
announced that RoboNexus comes
to Santa Clara the week of
October 17th, making Northern
California and Silicon Valley
the international center of the
robotics world. The RoboNexus
Conference and Exposition, the
nation’s largest event for
intelligent, mobile robotics
technologies, will be held at
the Santa Clara Convention
Center, Santa Clara, CA on
October 21-23, 2004. The
conference website is
http://www.robonexus.com.
According to Dan Kara,
conference chairman, President
and Co-Founder of Robotics
Trends, "RoboNexus was planned
as an international event right
from the start, and judging by
the strong international flavor
of participating exhibitors and
media outlets, as well as the
attendees, that was the correct
approach. Of the more than fifty
companies featured at RoboNexus,
a large component will be from
outside the US and will include
exhibitors from Japan, France,
Canada, Switzerland and other
countries, many of which will be
demonstrating robots and robotic
technology that have not been
seen outside their respective
countries. The media and
attendees participating in the
event will be equally worldly,
with representatives from Asia,
Europe, and North and South
America.”
According to Eliot Weinman, CEO
and Co-Founder of Robotics
Trends, “Robots and robotic
technologies have an
intellectual and emotional
appeal that transcends any other
type of engineered product, and
this appeal has equal
applicability across all forms
of media - print press, Web
press, film, and radio. The
large amount of media sources
converging on RoboNexus gives
evidence that media outlets
throughout the world understand
the attraction and fascination
of robotics technology to people
of all ages, and are serving
their customers by providing
coverage of North America’s
largest robotics event.”
RoboNexus sponsors include:
founding sponsor iRobot,
premiere sponsor Wany Robotics,
platinum sponsor Evolution
Robotics and association sponsor
